An established and highly successful hotel operation in the Bernese Oberland is seeking an exceptional Director of Kitchen for year-round employment within a dynamic hospitality environment.

We are looking for a German-speaking EU passport holder with a proven background in high-level culinary leadership, creativity, and operational excellence.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Highly creative approach to menu design, food presentation, and buffet presentation
  • Strong, effective leadership with a focus on staff development, retention, and performance
  • Ability to provide clear direction while fostering a respectful and supportive culture for an international team
  • Uncompromising standards in quality control, kitchen consistency, and performance management
  • Confident reporting line to the General Manager
  • Ability to conceptualise and execute innovative culinary ideas and menu development
