REGIONAL ENGINEERING MANAGER

A leading hospitality provider in Papua New Guinea is seeking an experienced Regional Engineering Manager to oversee engineering operations across multiple country properties, based in one of the group’s regional hotels.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring all properties operate to the highest standards of safety, maintenance, and engineering efficiency.

The Role

• Oversee engineering and maintenance functions across multiple hotel properties
• Lead, support, and develop on-property engineering teams
• Implement preventative maintenance programs and capital works planning
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Manage budgets, contractor relationships, and technical procurement
• Provide rapid response support for critical engineering issues across the region

Candidate Profile

• Strong background as Chief Engineer or Multi-Property Engineering Manager
• Previous experience in remote or regional hospitality environments preferred
• Solid technical knowledge across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
• Strong leadership and training capability
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, and remote setting
• Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability
