Head Chef / Executive Chef – Winery & Country Getaway Restaurant

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Head Chef or Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of a boutique winery and country getaway destination located near Wangaratta, Victoria.

This is not a large-volume operation. Instead, we are seeking a chef with a passion for exquisite cuisine, local produce, seasonal menus, and memorable dining experiences. The property features a highly regarded restaurant, wine experiences, and intimate functions and events in a stunning regional setting.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity, work closely with local suppliers, and further enhance the culinary reputation of this unique destination.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef

• Passion for premium regional and seasonal produce

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and kitchen management skills

• Experience in menu development, food cost control, and quality assurance

• Ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences for restaurant guests and smaller private events

• Strong organisational and communication skills
