Job Overview

Director of Sales – Resort Opening

A prestigious larger resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy and drive revenue growth across all key market segments.

 Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximise revenue and market share

* Oversee sales efforts across Corporate, Leisure, MICE, and Travel Trade segments

* Identify and secure new business opportunities in domestic and international markets

* Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key corporate accounts, travel partners, and industry stakeholders

* Manage contract negotiations and strategic account partnerships

* Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to optimise commercial performance

* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities

* Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and annual business plans

* Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and client networking functions

* Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets

Ideal Candidate:

*Prefered with Vietnamese language skills

* Previous experience with an international luxury hotel or resort brand is highly preferred

* Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving commercial targets

* Strong experience across Corporate, Leisure, MICE, and Travel Trade segments

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

* Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and results-driven approach
