A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Manager to join a prestigious luxury beach resort in Tanzania.

Set in a stunning beachfront location, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who understands the unique financial demands of a high-end resort environment.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, you will take responsibility for the resort's complete finance function, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting and commercial performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the day-to-day finance and accounting operation

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly financial reporting

• Monitor cash flow, revenue and expenditure

• Drive cost control and departmental profitability

• Manage internal controls, audits and compliance

• Oversee purchasing, stock and credit controls

• Provide commercial financial analysis to the GM and Executive Team

• Lead, coach and develop the finance team

• Work closely with all departments to improve financial performance

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar senior finance role

• Strong background within luxury hotels, resorts or beach resorts

• Previous African experience essential

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and cost control

• Excellent analytical and commercial skills

• Experience managing and developing a finance team

• Hospitality accounting systems and PMS/POS experience

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent highly advantageous

• Adaptable, hands-on and comfortable working in a resort environment
