Executive Chef – Luxury Resort, Ghana

Our client operates one of the finest luxury resorts in West Africa and is now looking for a dynamic and talented Executive Chef to join their team.

The resort :

• 4 F&B outlets & Meeting facilities for up to 200 guests
• An array of outside venues & facilities
• The ideal candidate will be a solid all-rounder who brings flair and innovation to both buffet and à la carte offerings.
• Consistency and a strong understanding of the luxury guest market are essential.

Key Requirements

• Proven track record in a similar position in 4- or 5-star hotels and/or resorts.
• Must lead from the front and work side by side with the team on the floor.
• Prior African experience is preferred.
• Ability to elevate local dishes to a new high-quality level.
• Must be able to manage a large multicultural team of approximately 40 staff.
• Outstanding trainer and mentor.
• Maintains discipline well while being firm and fair.
• Good culinary business acumen, including:
• Food costs & Inventory control
• Cost management & Creativity using predominantly local supplies.

Package

• Salary up to US$4,400 net per month.
• Accommodation on site.
• Medical cover & Annual flight home.
• Performance-based bonus.
• Single status only.

2-year contract, renewable.
