An opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the financial heartbeat of a successful Melbourne hotel.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands that hotel finance extends well beyond the balance sheet. You will work at the intersection of revenue performance, cost discipline and operational decision-making, partnering with hotel leadership to strengthen profitability across rooms, food and beverage, and wider hotel operations.

YOUR AREA OF INFLUENCE

Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

Monitor departmental performance, operating costs and profit margins.

Strengthen financial controls, compliance and reporting accuracy.

Work closely with operational leaders to identify commercial opportunities.

Translate financial data into practical recommendations that improve business outcomes.

THE IDEAL PROFILE

• Proven experience in hotel finance, ideally within a substantial property operation.
• Strong technical accounting skills combined with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Commercial understanding of rooms revenue, F&B performance and hotel cost structures.
• Confidence engaging with senior management and challenging performance constructively.
• Experience with a recognised international hotel groups will be highly regarded.
